Compassionate Care approach
I understand that therapy can be one of the most challenging things we can do in life
so I strive to be a friendly and approachable therapist offering a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly and feel accepted without judgement. As a gay therapist, I understand the importance of being met with respect, especially when exploring identity, relationships, sex or sexuality.
I am a qualified counsellor with on going further training in psychosexual and relationship therapy. I have a particular interest in intimacy, , sexual identity, sexuality confidence and relationship difficulties, and I work in a compassionate, inclusive and down-to-earth way.
I also support people affected by sexual abuse, trauma or difficult sexual experiences. We would work gently and at your pace, with care and respect for your boundaries.
Counselling can help with many of life’s difficulties, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, shame, trauma, relationship difficulties, family issues, work-related stress, life changes, identity, sexuality, intimacy and personal growth.
Whatever brings you to therapy, my aim is to offer a calm, supportive space where we can make sense of things together and work towards greater confidence, understanding and wellbeing.
